Research Achievements
Engineering is a research-intensive faculty. Over 90% of UNBF Engineering faculty members are engaged in research. They attract and conduct an estimated $17 million per year in research funded by public research councils, government organizations and industial partners. The Faculty has a large and internationally diverse complement of graduate students and researchers.
For a list of current research institutes, groups and centres currently associated with the Faculty of Engineering, please go to research groups. Individuals in every unit have achieved national or international recognition for their accomplishments in specialized niche areas. Here are some recent achievements of our faculty, staff and researchers.
