Multimedia Studies
Interested in the media and Pop culture?
Want to both study and create media?
The Multimedia Program allows you to analyze our modern media environment by looking at how the content of movies, TV shows, radio broadcasts, websites, magazines, comic books, video games, iPods and other media technologies are constructed, and what their effects are.
We teach you both the practical skills and critical background necessary to thrive in the digital media era. We teach you more than just the technical ability to create media content… we teach you how to interpret, analyze and understand the role that the media plays in society and the complex relationships between media content and audiences.
Our program teaches you the skills and knowledge that can open such career paths as:
- Film/TV Studios
- Design and Animation Studios
- Advertising/Marketing Agencies
- IT Companies/Web publishing
