Skills in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

This course is only open to students registered in the ABA Certificate program.

This course complements the material covered in other certificate courses by offering hands-on training and practice in the applications of Applied Behaviour Analysis. Students learn how to conduct various behaviour assessments and implement intervention strategies through instruction, demonstration and practice.

Instructor: Ashley Daniel
Prerequisite: Either PSYC 2613 or PSYC 2515 and either PSYC 3663 or PSYC 3515. Offered online only. Available only to students enrolled in the certificate program. Students who have received credit for PSYC 3345 cannot receive credit for PSYC 3555.

  • Develop professional problem-solving skills are embedded throughout each component of the course, a skill that will help prepare students to be independent BCaBAs.

Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course. All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date.

Assignments and examinations

  • 4 x lectures and guided notes (20 points each)
  • 5 x unit assignments (100 points each)
