Saint John summer term

Summer term is designed to meet the needs of both full-time and part-time students, and refers to courses offered May through August. UNB Saint John offers a mix of in-person and term based online courses. The UNB course timetable indicates if courses are offered through in-person instruction or online.

Summer timetable

Registration for summer term opens March 1.

Current students can register for courses using Colleague Self-Serve in the myUNB portal. Some courses have limited enrolment, so early registration is recommended. If you are new to UNB, see next steps after admission.

See the complete listing of summer courses offered at UNB Saint John by consulting the searchable course timetable.

Note that UNB Saint John reserves the right to cancel course offerings at any time due to insufficient enrolment.

Visiting students

All students taking credit courses for degree completion, general interest, or professional improvement, must apply for admission.

Apply now

In addition to applying for admission, all visiting students wishing to take courses at UNB Saint John for credit at their home university, must send a letter of permission from the Office of the Registrar of that university. Course registration will be delayed until receipt of this letter.

Audit provision

The University has a provision whereby students may audit courses with permission of the course instructor. Auditing a course means you can attend class, however you will not receive any academic credits for the course.

If you are interested in auditing a course, you must first apply for admission to UNB and be successfully admitted as an active student. Contact the Office of the Registrar at 648-5670 or unbsjreg@unb.ca for further details.
