Finance Club

Mr. Robert Livingston, Senior Vice-President with McLean Budden is UNB Finance Club Mentor At A Distance. The UNB Finance Group was formed in 2008 to improve the financial literacy of students interested in and studying finance. As a student-run entity, the club allows students with a shared interest in finance to enjoy camaraderie, presentations by industry professionals, participation in stock challenges, discussions related to finance, and a variety of social events. Membership is not limited to business students; students from other other UNB faculties with an interest in finance and investing are encouraged to join.

Supported by the Centre for Financial Studies, UNB's Finance Club is fortunate to have experts in the Finance industry as its mentors. Robert Livingston has been appointed as UNB Finance Group Mentor-at-a-Distance. Mr. Livingston is a senior vice-president with McLean Budden in Toronto and is a leader in managing portfolios for individual investors. He is a Merrill Lynch alumnus and a UNB Finance Group member.

Students in the Student Investment Fund program provide assistance to members of the finance club to help members understand the investment side of the finance industry.
