2-year (4-semester) programs at Georgian College

Graduates who have attained an overall program average of 70% in any of the Georgian College diplomas listed will be eligible to enter year three of the four-year Bachelor of Applied Management (BAM) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

Depending on the diploma program, students may be exempted from study in certain courses and therefore requested to take alternate courses offered by the Faculty of Business. These exemptions will be noted in the student's file upon admission.

Graduates who have attained an overall program average of 70% in any of the Georgian College diplomas listed will be eligible to enter year three of the four-year Bachelor of Applied Management (BAM) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

Bachelor of Applied Management - Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT)

Location: Saint John campus

Culinary Management

Graduates of the two-year Culinary Management program at Georgian College, who have attained an overall program average of 70%, will be eligible to enter year three of the four year Bachelor of Applied Management – Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

In addition to the regular program requirements for the BAMHT these students, prior to graduation, will be expected to complete BA3705 (Business Law) or its equivalent and Economics 1013 (Micro Economics) or Economics 1023 (Macro Economics) or an equivalent. Where possible these will not increase your total course requirements for the degree. With the permission of Georgian College, these may be studied within their current program and evidence of course of study communicated to UNB at the time of application.

Golf Facilities Operation Management

Graduates of the two-year Golf Facilities Operation Management program at Georgian College, who have attained an overall program average of 70%, will be eligible to enter year three of the four year Bachelor of Applied Management – Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

In addition to the regular program requirements for the BAMHT these students, prior to graduation, will be expected to complete BA3705 (Business Law) or its equivalent and Economics 1013 (Micro Economics) or Economics 1023 (Macro Economics) or an equivalent. Graduates of the two-year Hospitality Management – Hotel and Resort or three-year Hospitality Administration-Hotel Resort program at Georgian College, who have attained an overall program average of 70%, will be eligible to enter year three of the four year Bachelor of Applied Management – Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

In addition to the regular program requirements for the BAMHT these students, prior to graduation, will be expected to complete BA3705 (Business Law) or its equivalent and Economics 1013 (Micro Economics) or Economics 1023 (Macro Economics) or an equivalent. In addition to the regular program requirements for the BAMHT these students, prior to graduation, will be expected to complete HTM 1103 (Intro to Tourism) or its equivalent,  BA2858 (Intro to Human Resource Mgmt) or its equivalent, BA3705 (Business Law) or its equivalent and Economics 1013 (Micro Economics) or Economics 1023 (Macro Economics) or an equivalent. Where possible these will not increase your total course requirements for the degree. With the permission of Georgian College, these may be studied within their current program and evidence of course of study communicated to UNB at the time of application.

Snow Resort Operations

Graduates of the two-year Snow Resort Operations program at Georgian College, who have attained an overall program average of 70%, will be eligible to enter year three of the four year Bachelor of Applied Management – Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.
