This course helps you gain an understanding of the ethical issues, responsibilities, and professional behaviour of behaviour analysts. Use the case method to explore issues related to informed consent, due process, protection of confidentiality, and selection of the least intrusive, least restrictive behaviour change procedures. Explore decision-making processes and evidence-based practice, and the relationship between ethics and the law.
NOTE: Offered online only. Registration is restricted to students in the Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) program. Credit cannot be counted for both PSYC 3365 and PSYC 3525.
