This is an introductory course in corporate finance that teaches you the basic concepts and tools of financial analysis as well as the logic and process of corporate financial decision-making. It will help you develop the analytical abilities required to make sound corporate financial decisions. Both qualitative and quantitative methods will be applied in problem-solving.
Topics to be covered include major corporate finance decisions; interpretation of financial statements and financial statement analysis; the time value of money; valuation of stocks and bonds; capital investment decisions, financing decisions, working capital management and the fundamentals of risk and return.
