This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of infectious disease microbiology. Discusses bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, helminths and arthropods.
Recorded lectures provide the classroom experience but with complete flexibility in schedule. Tutorials and lectures can be watched multiple times to assist in the comprehension of the material. Clinical application of the material will make this course very beneficial for those interested, or currently enrolled, in a medical field.
This course is an online version of BIOL 2251.
Note: Credit will not be given for both BIOL 2251 and BIOL 2259. This course is not equivalent to BIOL 3261 and is restricted to students who have not received prior credit for BIOL 3261.
