Education

Students in our Education program learn to identify learning styles, assess student capabilities, and determine student needs. They learn how to develop curriculum, and prepare assessments and reports. Most importantly, they develop abilities to understand and explain difficult concepts to a wide range of learners.

Information and Communication Studies

The Information and Communication Studies (ICS) program gives students a comprehensive understanding of the social, political, economic and cultural impact of information and communication technologies and practices. It combines theoretical, historical, empirical and practical study with an emphasis on emerging media of communication and information gathering and distribution.

A list of eligible electives is posted annually each spring.

Sociology

A sociology degree gives you the skills to analyze relationships, like those between people and governments, corporations and communities. Our Sociology program provides a solid foundation in sociological concepts, theories, and methods, so you’re well prepared for your future endeavours.
