Admissions Forms:

Certain UNB programs require that entering students supply additional documentation. Listed below are those programs and their requirements.

  • Education - Supplementary Admission Form

a) The 11-month Bachelor of Education post-degree program is available to those who have already satisfied the requirements for a previous Bachelor’s degree. Special supplementary forms must be submitted by January 31st. Early application is recommended since considerable time is required to complete the supplementary forms.

b) Faculty of Education Admission Advantage: Admission to the Bachelor of Education concurrent programs was discontinued at UNB-Fredericton as of the Fall 2007 term. In their place, the faculty is offering the Faculty of Education Admission Advantage to students who are in their final year of secondary school (deadline is March 31st) 

c) DAUS (Diploma in Advanced Undergraduate Studies): for BEd graduates who wish to gain additional teaching qualifications. 

A supplementary admission form for the BIS program must also be completed at the time of application. Recommended deadlines for admission are listed on this from, based on the term you plan to begin study.

Students select one of the following programs: Bachelor of Recreation and Sports Studies or Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. A special supplementary form must be completed by all applicants, excluding high school applicants, and send as supporting documentation. This form is available here in .pdf format.

The basic program covers four years of general/professional education and is offered in Fredericton, Saint John, Bathurst and Moncton. Early application is recommended (as soon as mid-year results are known). Special supplementary forms for this program must be completed and returned by the deadline. University of New Brunswick students wishing to transfer to another degree program or to another campus must apply in writing to the Registrar for permission to do so, preferably before March 31st.  Applications received after that date will be considered provided that space is available. It is recommended that applications for degree programs with limited enrolment (Nursing and Kinesiology) be submitted preferably in January.

Current Student Forms:

If the name of a student changes after he/she has submitted an application for admission to the University of New Brunswick, the name on the University’s file (surname and/or given name) cannot be modified except when a request for name change is completed.  A name change may only be processed by completing this form and submitting the required document.

To request a Complete Withdraw and/or to remove the last course in a Term from your academic record
