Volunteer Hub

This year, Career Development & Employment Services (CDES) is taking a new approach to promoting volunteer work at UNB. While we won’t be hosting an in-person Volunteer Fair on the Fredericton or Saint John campuses, we’re excited to introduce our refreshed and resource-rich Volunteer Hub — on our Student SharePoint site.

The Volunteer Hub connects UNB students with organizations and causes that align with their interests and values. It’s your one-stop resource to explore volunteer opportunities, learn how to get involved, and discover the personal and professional benefits of giving back.

Volunteer Hub

Why volunteer?

  • Discover your passion: Explore causes that truly matter to you and find opportunities that align with your values.
  • Build connections: Network with organizations and individuals who share your commitment to making a difference.
  • Enhance your skills: Develop valuable, transferable skills that can strengthen your academic and career goals.
  • Boost your resume: Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and social responsibility — qualities that stand out to employers and graduate schools.
  • Make an impact: Every act of volunteerism, big or small, contributes to meaningful change in your community.

Whether you’re beginning your studies or nearing graduation, volunteering helps you grow personally and professionally while creating a positive impact on those around you.

Find current opportunities, connect with community partners, and learn how you can get involved — all in one place.
