Faculty and staff

Faculty and staff are invited to participate in the academic procession as a member of the Honour Guard. The Honour Guard will form 30-minute prior to the start of each ceremony outside the fourth-floor doors of The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER. In the event of inclement weather, the Honour Guard will form inside the Long Hall on the fourth-floor entrance.

The piper will lead the Marshals and graduands in a procession from the Mackay Promenade to The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER. Graduands will be greeted by the Honour Guard at the fourth-floor entrance. The Marshals will lead graduands into the performance hall, followed by the Honour Guard and then the Platform Party.

Reserving regalia

Reserve regalia through Gaspard by Friday, May 3 at 11:59 p.m.

Purchase regalia

To purchase regalia, specific to the university from which you graduated, you can do so through Gaspard at grad_sales@gaspard.ca or by calling 1-800-380-8214.

You can also purchase UNB-specific regalia. The lead time is generally six weeks.

If you have your own regalia, and plan on participating in the Honour Guard during a specific ceremony, notify Jackie at jackie.wright@unb.ca by Friday, May 3 so we can ensure enough chairs are available at each ceremony.

Regalia pick up and drop off for faculty and staff

Please return your regalia to the Alberta Alumni Recreation Centre, first floor, The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER immediately following the ceremony.

• Ceremony A: Wednesday, May 15, 7:30 – 9 a.m. 
• Ceremony B: Wednesday, May 15, 12 – 2 p.m.
• Ceremony C: Thursday, May 16, 7:30 – 9 a.m.
• Ceremony D: Thursday, May 16, 12 – 2 p.m.

Unreturned regalia will be charged to the person who placed the reservation.
