Head Hall - Room 110 Renovations

Head Hall, Room 110, was chosen for renovation as it had the potential to become a truly effective small classroom.  It had not had any renovations or furnishing upgrades in many years, and was often exchanged by instructors for more effective rooms.

Encourage Active and Collaborative Learning

  • Improved acoustics through a dropped ceiling.
  • Accessible power at each seat.
  • Plenty of writing space for both laptops and paper.

Promote Student-Faculty Interaction

  • Appropriately sized and flexible desk and podium to reduce the barrier between instructor and student.

Provide a Supportive Campus Environment

  • Improved color palette to increase the welcoming and invitingness of the room.
  • Improved air circulation to increase the livability of the room.
