Achieving our vision required bold organizational changes, including a move to a new academic leadership structure by creating a provost and amalgamating many administrative functions.
Petra Hauf, Provost and Vice President Academic: Dr. Petra Hauf is the inaugural provost & vice president academic at UNB. In her new role she serves as the chief academic officer and delivers the academic mission at the university’s two main campuses in Fredericton and Saint John and the Moncton site.
Shelley Rinehart, Acting Vice Provost Learning and Student Experience: Dr. Shelley Rinehart is the acting vice provost learning and student experience. Dr. Rinehart oversees student affairs and services, experiential learning and the newly established learning futures unit.
Van Lantz, Vice Provost Academic Administration: As vice provost academic administration, Dr. Lantz oversees UNB’s academic planning processes, academic quality assurance & accreditation, academic instructor contracts, and faculty labour relations.
