This is an introductory course in Corporate Finance that is designed to get students acquainted with the basic concepts and tools of financial analysis as well as the logic and process of corporate financial decision making. Topics to be covered include major corporate finance decisions; interpretation of financial statements and financial statement analysis; the time value of money; valuation of stocks and bonds; capital investment decisions, financing decisions, working capital management and the fundamentals of risk and return.

Prerequisite: ADM 1213
This course will help you develop the analytical abilities required to make sound corporate financial decisions. Both qualitative and quantitative methods will be applied in problem-solving.
Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course. All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date.
The exam(s) for this course will be invigilated on an approved date using Respondus e-proctoring software (LockDown Browser and Monitor). This is a free tool provided with this course, a webcam is required. More information will be given once you have been registered.
