Open entry online courses

Open entry online courses are open to UNB/STU undergraduate and graduate students, mature students, program applicants, students studying at other post-secondary institutions, and no-degree students.

How to apply

  1. For each course you want to apply to, click on the course from the Open Entry Course list.
  2. Once on the course webpage, scroll to the bottom and click "Apply Now".
  3. Fill out and submit the application form.
  4. Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation from extend@unb.ca.

NOTE: You cannot register for open-entry online courses in Colleague Self-Service.

Full-time UNB students must obtain advisor approval for Fall & Winter terms. Summer term requirements vary depending on your academic program.

Full-time UNB and STU students must register by Oct. 1 for Fall Term and Feb. 1 for Winter Term.

Once registration is complete, you will have six months to complete the course. However, you can progress at your own pace and complete it sooner. NOTE: If you have a student loan, you should confirm with student loans or UNB Financial Services when your course(s) needs to be completed.
