ITS is pleased to announce that the latest version of Mac OS X, Sierra (10.12), is now fully supported at UNB.

This operating system has been fully tested and compatibility issues with ITS supported enterprise applications have been resolved. Faculty, staff and students using Sierra should no longer experience any issues with their UNB IT services.

ITS is currently seeing a number of compatibility issues between the latest version of Mac OS X, Sierra (10.12) and some UNB supported services.

Until further testing is completed, we strongly recommend that faculty, staff and students do not upgrade to Sierra (10.12). Upgrading your device may result in issues accessing some UNB IT Services.

We will continue testing all UNB IT Services with Mac OS Sierra (10.12) and notify you once complete.
