Rock and ice climbing
The rock & ice climbing club is run by devoted volunteer members, who together, organize and operate all club activities including regular hours, the Banff Mountain Film Festival, indoor and outdoor climbing instruction and local and regional competitions.
Club information
- The rock & ice climbing club provides both indoor and outdoor activities throughout the year.
- Rock & Ice Club memberships are available for purchase at the Client Services desk in the CURRIE CENTER or online. The annual fee is $60 for members and students and $220 for non-members. This fee includes shoe rentals for members and students, and both facility access and shoe rentals for non-members.
- The club accesses the climbing wall on a daily basis.
- Interested in volunteering? The club is always looking for individuals to assist as climbing monitors at the rock wall. To get started, please complete the club's volunteer form.
