Scholarships and Awards
To offset some of the additional costs associated with the Student Investment Fund program, the following scholarships are available through the Centre for Financial Students:
- NBIMC award - This award worth $10,000 is used to finance student teams participating in competitions, resume books and other activities.
- CFA University Scholarship - Provided by professors who designate scholarships to students. Ten such scholarships are available.
- CPMS Scholarship - This scholarship is worth $1000 and is given to the student who demonstrates the highest proficiency using the CPMS software.
- ACFA Scholarship - Awarded to the SIF student most likely to pass the CFA level 1.
- SIF Leadership Award - Awarded to the student that best embodies the SIF characteristics:integrity, teamwork, leadership, initiative and communication.
