Noel Lyon

Noel Lyon received his university education at Royal Roads Military College, the University of British Columbia (LL.B.) and Yale (LL.M.). He taught at UBC, McGill and Queen's, including a course on Aboriginal Rights, the latter being heavily influenced by working with the Mohawk people of Akwesasne in 1970 and later occasions. Since retiring in 1994 he has learned a great deal about First Nations while living for fifteen years in Saskatoon, where he attended several gatherings of elders and others.
