Tri-Council graduate funding

Generous scholarships are provided to graduate students from Canada's three major granting agencies: the Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Students are strongly encouraged to apply for funding from one of these councils whose research mandate is most closely aligned with their own graduate programs.

UNB students applying for a Tri-Council scholarship have access to application guides and workshops providing tips on the application process, procedures and guidelines.

For more information on the application process, attend an upcoming workshop, or check out our application guides for the Doctoral awards, Masters awards, or Undergraduate awards.
