Much of the information you will require while at the Faculty of Law can be found in documents and forms including:

Experiential learning

We offer various opportunities for experiential learning through a variety of programs. Upper-year students may also receive academic credit from experiential learning activities. These include our clinical program, the UNB Law Journal, our competitive mooting program and our internship program.

Career services

We know that graduating from law school is only the first step on your path to a professional career, whether it be in law practice, a corporate or government legal department, business, a non-governmental organization, politics or elsewhere. Whatever direction you pursue, you can always use some help in getting started.

Our Career Services Office, with support from the student-run Articling and Placement Committee, supports you in pursuit of fulfilling careers.

Student groups and societies

There are a number of affiliated student groups and societies for you to get involved in. The Law Students' Society (LSS) is the umbrella student organization serving the students of UNB Law and represents students in several respects, with the fees providing funding for all student committees and organizations.

University and faculty academic calendars

The Faculty of Law guide contains complete information regarding scholarships, prizes and financial aid; courses; and regulations and policies.

University regulations and policies apply to students in the Faculty of Law, except where they are modified by the Faculty of Law regulations.
