UNB's Currie Scholars for 2021-22

Four outstanding high school students are winners of the prestigious Currie Undergraduate Scholarships at the University of New Brunswick. This year’s recipients are Safe AbuJayyab, Jordan Cole, Declan Hartery and Megan Kinch.

The University of New Brunswick announced the 2021 recipients of the Beaverbrook Scholars Award, rewarding New Brunswick’s most exceptional students for their academic abilities and community involvement. This year’s recipients are Bailey Desjardins, Haley Prosser and Marika Wesselius.

The University of New Brunswick and J.D. Irving, Limited announced six students as the 2021 recipients of the J.D. Irving, Limited NB Leadership Scholarship at UNB.

The 2021 recipients are Nathaniel Dryden, Benjamin Durette, Benjamin Hogan, Lucy Kidney, Colin Matthews and Kendehl Taylor.

Patricia Morris (BN'15, MN'21), a PhD candidate in interdisciplinary studies at the University of New Brunswick, received a prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship to continue her doctoral studies in gerontological nursing.

The 14th annual Shoot for the Cure fundraising campaign by U SPORTS women’s basketball programs, in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, tripled its 2021 goal of $44,000 and raised more than $123,000 nationally.
