International students must have the proper permits to study in Canada.
In order to study, international students must have a Study Permit. Other important documents include an Entry Visa, which international students from some countries need to enter Canada. It is also possible for international students to work in Canada, for which you need an Off-Campus Work Permit. Study and work permits are issued by the Citizenship & Immigration Canada.
