Technology Innovation  Pitch (TIP) Challenge

What is an elevator pitch?

An elevator pitch is designed to give a concise overview of a product, service, or idea taking no longer than the duration of an elevator ride.

What is the Technology Innovation Pitch?

The Technology Innovation Pitch - TIP - is a takeoff of the elevator pitch. This is your opportunity to pitch your technological innovation for bettering the world in three minutes or less. TIP participants will first create an executive summary of their novel idea. Finalists will be chosen based on their executive summaries and will have three minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of judges - vying for three cash prizes.

Why Participate?

The TIP is a great opportunity to hone your skills in presenting a business case in a succinct, compelling way - both on paper and face-to-face. Winners will receive cash prizes and the bestselling book Blue Ocean Strategy. TIP judges are business professionals who will provide candid feedback on your pitch. Plus, finalists will have networking opportunity with judges and invited business guests during the following dinner.
