Group Fitness
UNB Recreation Services is pleased to provide a variety of group fitness classes designed to provide an amazing workout experience! These classes are included in your base and combined memberships. Classes are offered all year round and include indoor cycling, muscle conditioning, cardio, Step, and more.

Fall Group Fitness Schedule (begins Sept.9th, 2013)
Deep Water Aqua Express: This is a zero impact, total body workout that offers a blend of cardiovascular and muscular training with specific attention to core stabilization. Flotation belts are used.
Cycling Express: Trying to squeeze in an intense cycling workout during your lunch hour? Hop on a stationary bike and pedal your way to fitness with this 40 minute class.
Indoor Cycling: Join us as we take you on a 50 or 60 minute ride that will leave you feeling great! Our indoor cycling classes are geared for anyone from the outdoor enthusiast to those new to cycling.
Boot Camp: Are you ready for a fast paced, interval training class? Exercises include cardio drills, jumping, push-ups, abs & back exercises and a variety of hard core drills. Intensity adjusted by you!
Cardio Sculpt: This class will add variety and spice to your workout with a combination of cardiovascular and muscle conditioning exercises that change each week!
Group Rx RIP: RIP is an exciting 50 or 60-minute barbell program for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Work your entire body in this amazing muscular strength and endurance workout.
Power Hour: Sculpt some serious muscle with 50 minutes of muscular conditioning movements (using body bars, hand held weights, stability balls and tubing) that will keep you coming back for more!
Step: Join us for a fun-filled class consisting of choreographed moves for the step. This is a great cardiovascular workout!
HIIT IT: Are you ready for a 30 minute high intensity interval training class? You will experience a variety of high intensity exercises such as tuck jumps and burpees, followed by a variety of medium intensity movements such as a light job or jumping jacks for the recovery phase. All movements are cardiovascular-based. This is a fast-paced class, so if you are ready for exercise in the fast lane, come join us in HIT IT!
HIIT IT & Functional Fitness Circuit (FFC): This is a fun and up-beat class that combines our HIT IT class with a circuit style strength class that is sure to hit all of your major muscle groups!
