Resting Deeply (Restorative Yoga)

Restorative yoga is designed to sooth your body, breath and thinking mind. Rest provides your body and opportunity to recharge, renew and heal itself. Restorative postures are used to relieve stress, fatigue and illness. We all need a restorative practice from time to time, it is a wonderful compliment to an active yoga practice. Restorative practice could be considered the 'icing on the cake' after a competition for active athletes. This is a quiet class, so direction of meditative work is self-directed. Beginners and experienced yoga participants are all welcome.
