Finding a Place to Live

Many graduate students who come to Fredericton with their families, live in Magee House.  This is an apartment building at the top of the UNB campus.

The benefit of living in Magee House is that it connects you to a community of graduate families. Magee House has a common room for group meals and exercise classes, as well as an indoor and outdoor play area for children.  Rent includes heat and hot water. Lights, cable tv, Internet and phone are additional costs ($150/month.) Food and incidentals for a family of three would be approximately $600/month

When you are coming to Canada with your family it is important that your spouse and children are connected to a supportive community.

You can view more information about Magee House on Residential Life's website.
