Inorganic chemistry

Barry A. BlightResearch efforts in this group are focused on the development and exploitation of luminescent MOFs, and separately, incorporation of MOF materials into the biological arena. In parallel we are developing chiral porous solids that can transfer chiral information into enantioselective reactivity in catalytic transformations. We are also interested in organic optolectronic materials, employing supramolecular host-guest self-assembly with new photoactive hydrogen bonding synthons.
