NOTE: For those students who intend to apply to the Thesis/Report stream of the Master of Nursing program you must choose the "Standard Option" from the drop down box on the online application form.

The SGS will forward the complete application package to the Nursing Graduate Academic Unit (GAU) for consideration. All applications are reviewed by the Nursing GAU Advisory Committee which makes recommendations for admissions to the SGS.  The SGS makes the final admission decisions.

Informal notification

The Nursing GAU informally notifies applicants of their recommendations to the SGS. The SGS issues the formal certificate of acceptance. Students can expect informal notification of the status of their application by March.

Note: The application process requires 3 references* as outlined in the admission criteria. Students should ensure that referees use the SGS Reference Form. Online references are preferred.

*One reference must be an academic reference; "academic" reference is a reference written by a professor/instructor who has taught the student in the classroom course in the BN degree, not in a "practice" related course.

Application deadline

Applicants are encouraged to begin the application process early. The deadline for completed applications is January 15.
