A summer filled with fun and learning
The University of New Brunswick opens its doors to kids and teens for summer camps during July and August. There are over 40 camps available on a variety of topics and themes from art, music, sports, and computer science, and engineering.
Summer camps at UNB Fredericton
The University of New Brunswick's Fredericton campus offers a wide variety of arts, science, engineering, and sports summer camps throughout the summer.
Arts
Kids and teens who like to be creative can bring their artistic talents to life at the Design Works Summer Art Camps at the UNB Art Centre. Back by popular demand are Themed Art Camps, Steal the Stage Theatre Camps, and the Awesome Photography Camps for campers aged six to 14.
Music
The UNB Centre for Musical Arts provides programs for all ages. UNB's summer music programs offer a wide variety of interesting activities. These include Music Camp for band, orchestra and choir students, Fiddle Camp for ages eight and up, beginners to advanced, and a beginners instrumental band camp for 10 to 13 year-olds.
Sports
Sports enthusiasts of all ages can hone their basketball, hockey, or soccer abilities at UNB Summer Sport Camps. Most camps are one week long and campers learn from qualified coaches.
Engineering
Kids who want to explore new horizons in engineering and science can sign up for a Worlds UNBound camp. Worlds UNBound offers exciting science, engineering, and technology camps all summer for grades 1-11. Campers do fun, hands on, science, engineering, and technology projects.
Computer Science
The UNB Faculty of Computer Science has designed a Creative Computing Camp to introduce students to the creative aspects of computing. Campers will enjoy daily time in the computer lab where they will explore their creative side with "Alice", an innovative application that makes it easy to create your own worlds and tell your own stories using 3D animations, viewable on the web. Campers will also participate in hands-on activities outside the computer lab.
IBEC within the Faculty of Business Administration - Youth Entrepreneurship Summer Camp
The Youth Entrepreneurship Summer Camp is for youth aged 8-15. Camps run from July 4 to August 12.
Youth Entrepreneurship Camp is a five-day camp that teaches youth about starting their own business. All campers have access to a $20 loan to start their week long business venture. They write a business plan, create a product, and sell it at the end of the week marketplace. Any money made after the loan is paid off is pure profit for the camper!
This summer's themes include: Innovation, All Girls, Marketing and Extreme Camp. Spaces are limited so reserve a spot today!
