A Conversation with Siyabulela Mandela-FR

UNB Fredericton will host a community conversation with Mr. Siyabulela Mandela.

Mr. Mandela is an internationally acclaimed academic and carries on his grandfather’s legacy as a renowned activist and freedom fighter.   He is currently a PhD candidate (International Relations and Conflict Resolution) and lecturer in the department of politics and conflict studies at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa. 

The discussion will focus on reconciliation and social justice.   Mr. Mandela will be joined on stage by Piluwitahasuwin Amanda Reid Rogers with Dr. Dhirenda Shukla as the moderator.  Imelda Perley, Mi’kmaq-Wolastoqey Centre  Elder-in-Residence, will conduct the ceremonial opening.

This once in a lifetime opportunity is being offered to the UNB community free of charge and will be closed the media and the general public.
