24th International Applied Geochemistry Symposium (IAGS 2009)

 

WELCOME

The 24th International Applied Geochemistry Symposium (IAGS 2009) is the Association of Applied Geochemists (AAG) biennial meeting, which will be held in Fredericton (New Brunswick, Canada) on the campus of the University of New Brunswick.

Monday June 1st to Thursday June 4th, 2009

This biennual AAG meeting is co-sponsored by the International Association of GeoChemistry (IAGC) and the International Association of GeoAnalysts (IAG) and include the North Atlantic Minerals Symposium (NAMS). The meeting will be preceeded by 5 different professional development workshops to be held on Sunday, May 31st. As well there are 3 different pre-meeting field trips (Wednesday May 27 to Saturday May 30th) and 3 post-meeting field trips (Friday June 5th to Monday June 8th) run throughout the Maritimes (Atlantic Canada) and leaving from and returning to Fredericton at the beginning and end of the trip(s).

The meeting is jointly organised by geoscientists from the University of New Brunswick (UNB), New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources, New Brunswick Research and Productivity Council, New Brunswick Department of the Environment, and professionals drawn from the consulting engineering and mineral exploration industry here in New Brunswick, in conjunction with a professional conference organiser (PCO) from UNB.
