Haptics is the science and technology of experiencing and creating touch sensations in human operators. This course will cover the three interrelated domains of human physiology, mechanisms, and control, to develop kinaesthetic and tactile haptic displays that render a variety of environments. Course content consists of equal parts of at-home reading, in-class instruction of theoretical concepts, and in-lab application.
