The Student Accessibility Centre recognizes that family members and supporters play an important role in supporting and helping students with disabilities.
All information is confidential between the student and our office. A family member or supporter may attend Student Accessibility Centre appointments only if the student consents. Students may provide written consent to allow on-going communication or advocacy on their behalf from a family member or supporter.
Information or documentation that is provided to the Student Accessibility Centre is kept confidential and is never shared with family members or supporters unless the student provides written consent.
The Student Accessibility Centre promotes students' independence and self-advocacy. Registering with the Student Accessibility Centre is voluntary. Students are responsible for communicating and meeting with the staff.
