Music series

The Wednesday concert series is in full swing for the winter 2026 term. Each concert will take place in the Baird Dining Hall at noon. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Feb. 11 - The Saint John String Quartet

Saint John String Quartet will offer an assortment of classical arrangements. We are grateful to the support from ArtsNB to ensure the Saint John String Quartet continues as UNBSJ’s musicians-in-residence.

Feb. 18 - Masa Kikiuchi

Masa is a prominent figure in the Saint John music scene, playing with local groups such as the Irish band Farraige. He is a multi-instrumentalist (tin whistle, Irish flute, bodhrán drum, bassoon, uilleann pipe, accordion, and saxophone). He will play a series of engaging tunes for us.

Feb. 25 - Magnus LaBillois

Magnus LaBillois is a talented multi-instrumentalist from New Brunswick, known for blending blues, indie and classical music. He gained recognition early, performing at the 2016 #Festival506 "dB Stage" and winning the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Gold Medal for Guitar in 2016 and 2017. Magnus was a member of the band "The Wiseaus," performing at the 2017 #Festival506 "deBut Stage."

March 11 - Saint John String Quartet

The Saint John String Quartet is back for their final performance of the 2026 season. We are grateful to the support from ArtsNB to ensure the Saint John String Quartet continues as UNBSJ’s musicians-in-residence.

The Lorenzo Society would like to thank our generous donors in making this concert series possible.
