Magnus LaBillois

Magnus LaBillois

Magnus LaBillois is a talented multi-instrumentalist from New Brunswick, known for blending blues, indie and classical music.

He gained recognition early, performing at the 2016 #Festival506 "dB Stage" and winning the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Gold Medal for Guitar in 2016 and 2017.

Magnus was a member of the band "The Wiseaus," performing at the 2017 #Festival506 "deBut Stage."


Masa Kikuchi

Masa is a prominent figure in the Saint John music scene, playing with local groups such as the Irish band Farraige.

He is a multi-instrumentalist (tin whistle, Irish flute, bodhrán drum, bassoon, uilleann pipe, accordion, and saxophone) and will be joined by Vanessa Briand on the fiddle.

The Saint John String Quartet will close out the fall 2025 term music series with a holiday inspired performance. We are grateful to the support from ArtsNB to ensure the Saint John String Quartet continues as UNBSJ’s musicians-in-residence.

Dr. Xu was instrumental in cultivating a relationship with DalMedNB and UNB Saint John allowing UNB Saint John students to join Dalhousie medical students in both the Heartbeat! Choir and the ceilidh band, Ceol.
