Participating countries from the Global Child Rights Dialogue (GCRD) project

Article 12 of the CRC states that children have the right to express their views on issues that affect them, and that their views should be given due consideration.

From the beginning of the GlobalChild project we knew we needed to seek children’s voices and incorporate their opinions into our work. The Global Child Rights Dialogue (GCRD) project did just that.

Almost 2,000 children at 52 sites in 35 countries shared their opinions about their rights. The insights that children shared with us were integrated into the GlobalChild indicators.
