The Faculty of Law offers a three-year Juris Doctor (JD) program with a core curriculum that prepares you for a range of careers. Ninety per cent of our 2016 graduates are articling in private practice, clerkships or public interest.
Our curriculum will expose you to critical perspectives on law. You will learn to view law as a social institution and intellectual enterprise. We offer a variety of elective upper-year courses, which allow you to specialize in an area of interest including:
You will gain substantive knowledge of the law, skills in critical thinking, problem solving, advocacy and consensus building.
The Faculty of Law also offers a joint MBA/JD program with the Faculty of Management. Within four years you could earn both a Master of Business Administration and a JD degree.
