Description

New Brunswick’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector plays a central role in the province’s economy, supporting businesses, public services, and community life. As digital technologies evolve, the province’s ability to attract, develop, and retain ICT talent has become increasingly important.

To build a clearer picture of how ICT workers enter and move through New Brunswick’s labour market, this multi-year research project examined ICT demand, supply, employment patterns, and long‑term retention in the province. Using a range of linked administrative and survey data, the project traced how ICT professionals are trained, how they participate in the labour market, and how their employment choices evolve over time.
