Will taking a MindEdge Certificate give me Certification or Accredited Certification in a specific area?

To answer this question, it's important to understand the difference between a Certificate, Certification, and Accredited Certification.

A Certificate acknowledges the successful completion of a course or program offered by an institution. Certification represents a written assurance by a third party of conformity to a product, process, or service. Accreditation is the formal recognition, by an authoritative body, of the competence to work to specified standards.

Most MindEdge Certificate programs provide a Certificate of Completion but we also offer a few options where Certification is available—such as the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and the Online Marketing Certified Associate (OMCA) Test Prep Bundle.

How does the UNB CEL and MindEdge partnership work?

MindEdge is a Business-to-Business (B2B) company that creates and maintains a catalog of online courses and certificates. They do not offer their courses or certificates to individuals. The only way to access their catalog is through a partner organization, like UNB CEL.

What is the benefit of doing a MindEdge Certificate program or course through UNB CEL?

When you take a MindEdge program or course through UNB CEL, all Completion Certificates are branded as UNB CEL and MindEdge. UNB CEL has a worldwide reputation as a provider of leading-edge continuing education and professional development.

Can I get credit for a MindEdge course or certificate program?

After successfully completing a course or certificate program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from UNB CEL and MindEdge.

Can I get CEUs or PDUs for a MindEdge course or certificate program?

Yes! Most of our MindEdge offerings provide CEUs and PDUs. All CEU/PDU information is listed on the UNB MindEdge site.

How do I find my certificate of completion?

After you have completed your course or certificate program, you can download and print a PDF certificate of achievement from the course records page, accessible after logging into the learning management system. Your certificate of achievement is also available in your course on the Course Summary page.

Certificates are accessible anytime, even after your access to the course has expired.

How do I report an error in course content?

What are the minimum technical requirements for the courses?

The latest Adobe Reader/Acrobat Reader (free download available).

Other web browsers may work, but may not render all features of the courses.

NOTE: Cookies and JavaScript must be enabled.

All of the courses require a reliable internet connection. Broadband cable or high-speed DSL is recommended for the optimal experience.

You will also need an email account to be able to register and receive email from the course system regarding registration, course status, etc.

Some courses may have additional hardware and/or software requirements. Any additional requirements will be listed in the course description and course syllabus.

I can't access my course. What should I do?

If you forgot your password, please visit your login screen and click on the "Forgot Password" link. You will be asked to confirm your email address and a password reset link will be sent to that email address.

How are the prices determined?

The prices you see are MindEdge's prices. We have chosen not to raise the prices because we want to ensure you have access to affordable professional development options.

What's the refund policy?

You may request a refund up to 7 days from the purchase date. The registration fee will only be refunded if less than 10% of the course has been completed.

How do I print a receipt?

You should have received a receipt/invoice attached to your welcome email. You can also download and print a receipt from the course records page, accessible after logging in. Receipts are accessible anytime, even after access to the course has expired.
