The Port City of Saint John is the economic hub of the province and has beautiful natural parks for you and your family. The schools are of great quality and the community is very welcoming to newly arrived residents.
When you arrive to Saint John please check-in with the International Student Advisor's Office. We have a welcome package for you and are happy to meet with you to discuss topics that will ease your transition to Saint John.
Documents
It is always a good idea to have documents translated in your home country - marriage certificates, drivers licences, medical records (for existing conditions), children's school records, etc. It is not always easy to have these documents translated in Canada and it will likely save you time and money if you do it before you arrive.
Community resources
The Saint John Multicultural and Newcomers Resource Centre has a number of community programs that are open to spouses and children of international students. They can greatly help your family learn about the city and the Canadian culture.
