Daycare for children
Finding daycare for children in Canada is difficult and it is particularly difficult in Saint John. It is important to start early and get your child's name on a waiting list. You will find a listing of daycare centres in the Yellow Pages of the phone book. Keep in mind that most daycare centres do not take infants under 2 months of age, so be sure to check for age requirements.
If you are looking for a babysitter, you can ask friends with children, check the local newspaper, or post an ad on Kijiji.
