Mathematical sciences

Our department provides a Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics, a Certificate in Mathematics for Education, and a Major/Minor in Mathematics. With both undergraduate and graduate level courses, you will gain a deeper knowledge of calculus, algebra, analysis, ordinary and partial differential equations, number theory, networks and graphs, financial mathematics and school mathematics.

Course Registration and Advising

New or First Year BSc students  - please visit the Current Student area of the SASE website and read the SASE First Year Guidebook for information on registering first year courses. Scott Thomas provides undergraduate academic advising for all new and first year students.  

Upper Year Math Majors - consult the UNBSJ SASE course matrix guides located at the Current Student area of the SASE website.  1-on-1 academic advising is available from the Chair of the Department or from the Undergraduate Academic Advisor.
