General Management program
The General Management MBA program at the University of New Brunswick Saint John provides a challenging learning environment that gives graduates a strong business foundation from which to launch their career.
One of three main streams within our MBA program, the general management program helps our graduates develop their managerial potential areas relevant to the modern economy.
Our MBA program has a short payback and gives you the opportunity to learn and collaborate with internationally diverse students who come with varied business experiences of their own.

Individual study and work experience
Available in either a one year or part-time option, the MBA program has flexibility, allowing you to develop your own study program and work experience.
Graduates will emerge from the program fully equipped to pursue their own objectives without the limitations of a one-size-fits-all educational experience.
Rather than concentrating in one specific area of study, the General Management program offers a broad curriculum while giving students the opportunity to select International Business or Innovation and Technology Management courses as electives.
All General Management students complete four study modules as well as an internship program, and create an organizational consulting project or a new business plan as a final project. Part-time General Management students can complete their project at their current place of employment.
A research option is also available with a UNB Saint John faculty member, exploring the most recent challenges in business through literature and primary reviews. After completing 10 foundation courses, students taking the research option choose courses relevant to their area of focus and complete a thesis under the guidance of their faculty supervisor. The research option is available to full-time students only.
