RPB Team offers
Annual Budget Training & Refreshers
The Resource Planning
and Budgeting (RPB) Team is offering 2 different types of training sessions:
- “Budget 101” - Budget 101 is useful for people who have new
managerial responsibilities for budget and related financial
administration on the Fredericton Campus, as well as those wishing to
refresh themselves about our budget and financial governance on
campus. This session is “not” about how to submit your 2013-14
Budget. Previous attendees have included
Deans, Assistant/Associate Deans as well as Executive Directors/Directors
of administrative units. The Budget
101 course will be held on Monday January 7th from 1pm to 3pm
in the Forestry/Geology building Room 202.
- “How to Complete your 2013-14 budget: Navigating the Process and
Tools” - The RPB Team will be
offering the Online Budget Template System refresher course “How to
Complete your 2013-14 budget: Navigating the Process and Tools”. This offering will be held on two dates,
Monday, January 7th (9am to 12noon) and Tuesday, January 8th
(1pm to 4pm) in the Forestry/Geology building Room 202. This session is intended to provide
budget managers (Portfolio and Envelope Managers) and their designated
contacts with an update and refresher with regard to our online budget
systems and submission process.
This session is often attended by those hands-on managers who
submit their budgets directly as well as those administrative staff who
guide the process within their academic and administrative units.
The RPB Team will be pleased to offer refreshments to those
attending any of these sessions. Each
session assumes 1 hour of presentation with lots of time for questions.
