April 15 - UNB Associated Alumnae Travel Awards  - Awarded to a female graduate student from either of the University of New Brunswick's campuses to support travel in relation to thesis or dissertation research or conferences. Application Forms should be submitted to

April 21 - Sir Howard Douglas Gold Medal - Awarded to an undergraduate student at May Encaenia for best best composition in prose or verse in the Greek, Latin or English languages, or any subject within the regular course of study pursued at the university. Undergraduate theses or reports may be considered along with essays or verse compositions produced as part of regular class work.

April 21 - Elizabeth Parr-Johnston Graduate Fellowship - Based on nominations by Graduate Academic Units, this $5,000 renewable fellowship is open to Arts students on both the Fredericton and Saint John Campus who are from the Maritime Provinces. For more information on nomination procedures, speak to the Graduate Secretary or Director within your department.
