CHECK-IN DAY

9:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Student Union Building Cafeteria

  • This is the start of Orientation 2013 and where all the early action takes place. Visit the SUB Cafeteria to collect your Orientation Bracelet (this gets you into all the events hosted by the Student Union Orientation Committee), check into residence and collect your room key, and if you live off-campus, sign-up for TownHouse. You can get your student ID card made today or pick it up if you had your picture taken over the summer.

  • Financial Services will be open to receive student fees from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

  • Have questions? Ask anyone at the tables, or find someone wearing a red shirt. We’re here to help!

LUNCH

11:30 am - 1:30 pm at the McConnell Dining Hall

  • Parents and students are invited to lunch in McConnell Hall (cash or meal plan only).

PARENT/SUPPORTER WORKSHOP

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Student Union Building Ballroom

  • Designed to help parents and supporters understand the academic year, this session covers topics not addressed at Summer Orientation, Advising, and Registration. Join us to learn more about supporting your student, deciphering transcripts, and so much more.

RESIDENCE EVENTS

3:30 pm - 8:30 pm

  • Take part in fun activities and have dinner in the dining halls. Check in with your House Orientation Committee for more details.

TOWNHOUSE EVENT: BLAST-OFF PREPARATION

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Student Union Building Ballroom

  • Get to know some of the people you'll be hanging out with all week, learn some cheers, and get pumped up for Blast-off!

BLAST-OFF

8:30 pm at the Quad in front of the Student Union Building

  • Come join your very first UNB cheer off, hosted by the University of New Brunswick Student Union. Get ready for some big bangs and lots of hype as we blast off in Freddy Beach!

BEACH BASH (DANCE)

9:00 pm - Midnight in the Student Union Building Atrium

  • Dance the night away on the Beach! Yes, that's right Ladies and Gentlemen, your very first dance in Freddy Beach is beach-theme! You might even call it a sand bar bash!

GAMES NIGHT

9:00 pm - Midnight at the Student Union Building Blue Room

  • Don't like boogieing on the beach? Come check out our games room, enjoy some pizza, and play some video and board games.
