The Central Booking Office is a service‐oriented unit mandated to assist faculty, staff, students and external parties access space wherever possible and to recover reasonable
costs and generate revenue, where appropriate, on behalf of the University.

Here are some key items from the policy related to charging for use of space:

  • 5.2.1 Due to their inherent nature, charges will apply (to all Users) who Book and temporarily use athletic facilities, residence facilities, and the facilities of the Wu Conference Centre, Student Union Building retail area and the Richard J. Currie Center.
  • 5.2.2 Charges will apply (to all Users) who Book and temporarily use Fredericton Campus space for any Event at which admission (or other cost‐recovery fees) are levied on participants/attendees.
  • 5.2.3 Charges will apply to External Users who Book and temporarily use Fredericton Campus space.
  • 5.2.4 Subject to the foregoing, Internal Users may Book and temporarily use Fredericton Campus space for University business without charge.

  • All space is on as "as is" basis. Room must be returned to the way it was found. A fee may be charged if extra cleaning or re-set of room is required after the event.
  • These rates do not include special set-ups or use of audio-visual equipment.
  • The above rates are daily rates and as such may change depending on duration of booking.
