Hugh Whalen
HUGH WHALEN, Senior Teaching Associate and Acting Associate Dean of Programs, joined the Faculty of
Business Administration in 1992 and is a member of the Accounting/MIS. He teaches Management Information
Systems, Introduction to E-Business, and Database Management in the
undergraduate and graduate programs.
Dr. Whalen has a record of extensive service for the Faculty and the University. He is currently serving as Acting Associate Dean of Programs for a six month term. He served as Associate Dean, Programs, from 2000 to 2007. His primary responsibility was administrative oversight of the undergraduate and graduate business programs at UNBF. His office was responsible for the management of admissions, enrolment, academic appeals or reviews, student advising, and other academic services.
His current interests are teaching methodology, knowledge worker productivity and electronic business.
